Deeper Secrets of the Greatest Mystery Revealed

Most Christians and even some pastors do not know about The Mystery— the greatest secret in the world today– yet it is hidden in plain sight in the Word of God. The lack of knowledge of this truth is no wonder since it is the Adversary’s prime goal to conceal the truth of God’s Word—and especially the great Mystery—and its deeper secrets. If he can conceal or twist the truth, Satan can destroy more lives and keep believers from manifesting power and claiming God’s promises.

The Mystery is such a revolutionary and brilliantly executed master plan that it had to be kept secret; for had it been known, Satan and his spiritual kingdom of darkness would never have caused Jesus Christ to be tortured and crucified.

I Corinthians 2:7 and 8

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

This article covers the central doctrine of the Mystery, hidden with God from the beginning of the world, but also some deeper secrets of the Mystery that may be unknown to those enlightened on the subject. The most exciting truth is it all applies to you individually as well as the Church as a whole.

The Mystery was only made known through revelation from God to the apostle Paul and written in the church (Pauline) epistles some 30 years after the death of Christ. It was hidden with God until then. It is not mentioned in the Old Testament or the Gospels neither is it spoken by Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 3

1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is NOW revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

This divine proclamation was given after Israel as a nation had rejected the King time and time again during his time on earth and to the present, except those Jews who decided to believe. All throughout the Old Testament, Israel was especially chosen by God—called out to be his children—and to whom God would focus on and communicate with—his church. All others were Gentiles—the other nations including the enemies of Israel and of God. This sounds like a highly bigoted and politically incorrect statement but it is quite the opposite. To proclaim that the Gentiles were to be heirs of the promises to Israel was and is a revolutionary statement. The Gentiles and the enemies of God, all peoples, can share fully in the promises now and the inheritance of a future paradise. The gift of holy spirit and understanding the knowledge of the truth is now available to all people, Egyptians, Jews, Romans, Babylonians, Arabs, Syrians, Asians, Palestinians etc. It was not available until after the death and resurrection of Christ.

Act 2:38   Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized (spiritual cleansing, replacing the physical water cleansing) every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost [holy spirit]

39   For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.

This gift of holy spirit is Christ in you, the hope of glory [the absolute guarantee of your being risen and glorified with Him in future unto eternal life]

1Jo 5:13   These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Romans 10:9   That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10   For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (compete wholeness spiritually now—Christ in you–eternal life).

Further to this, there are no Jews or Gentiles in the new church of the new covenant, the body of believers. There are former Jews that believe and become born again in the new church. They are made one new man, one body—the body of Christ where Christ is the Head.

But there is much more to the Mystery.

The riches of the glory of the mystery is that Christ is in us—the who, what, where, when, how and why of which is the whole subject of the Bible. Understanding the Mystery unlocks its deeper secrets so that we can comprehend the treasures of the spiritual truths of who we really are in Christ—the real you.

Colossians 3

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is GIVEN TO ME for you, to fulfil [to bring to pass and complete] the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest [known and evidenced] to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory:

Colossians 2

2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

3 In whom are hid ALL the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

There are many aspects of the meaning of the Mystery and what was accomplished by the culmination of events leading up to its revelation. Some of the deeper secrets relate to HOW God in Christ accomplished this seemingly impossible occurrence. He was the perfect sacrifice for us in that he fulfilled all the law of the old covenant so that a new covenant and a new Administration could legally be established. The new covenant of the mystery or grace administration, where all people could have salvation now, even when we were (are) unworthy of such grace and this gift from God. These include all the offerings, feasts, sacrifices, Sabbaths, circumcision, baptism, and burial; and that we were buried with him and rose with him. This gave us legal standing and rights to become sons of God just as if we ourselves also fulfilled every law of God in the Old Covenant. Jesus Christ did not keep the last Passover during his last days for he was the Passover lamb.

Some of the deeper secrets of the Mystery will be outlined in Part 2 of this important and crucial topic. Subscribe to be notified when it is published!

Now, I strongly suggest you read and then reread Ephesians 1-3 and also Colossians 1-3; but only after some quiet prayer asking the Father to reveal more wisdom to you. Then you will have much greater understanding and have your eyes opened to even greater truths and deeper secrets of the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, HOW AND WHY of the Mystery.

Please share your knowledge and what you have gained below with your comments.

The Spiritual Meaning of Natural Food and Drink

DinnertimeSpiritual Meaning of Natural Food and Drink

by David M. Augenstein (Augie)

Food and drink is something everyone loves; but there is much more to it than the titillating of all of our senses and the filling of our stomachs.

Food and drink connect us all; it is music to the soul—a universal language. There is a spiritual significance to the planting of seed, growing, harvesting, proper preparation and eating of food—even the soil, seed and plant. There is greater meaning in feasting on naturally grown food grown by farmer friends or from your own garden/homestead; even more so when enjoyed with family and good friends. There is a spiritual connection to these rituals; a connection to the Creator and His people. We will be examining this spiritual meaning of natural food with a biblical perspective.

Before we get into more depth, you must first enjoy this 4-minute presentation on the godly artwork that shows divine design of natural foods and their health-giving properties.

The importance of natural drinks, water for example, must also be considered to understand the full scope of the subject.

Most foods are comprised of 80 to 85% water. Water also comprises about 80 to 85% of the human body. Therefore, water is as important in this study in understanding the meaning of food—which extends to drink as well. Water molecules exhibit at least 20 physical and chemical properties that no other molecule has. The divine design of water is best illustrated by individual snowflake patterns where no two are alike, as shown in these phenomenal images:

I hope you enjoyed this introduction to the The Spiritual Meaning of Food and Drink and will share it with all your friends.

In Part II, it will be shown that there is a direct correlation between physical food and drink, and the eating and drinking of it, to their spiritual counterparts– and it being a daily symbol and representation of spiritual truths that we can embrace and benefit from knowing about. To be notified when Part II is posted, you will need to assure you have access to it by subscribing.
